This eyepiece is designed for Precise Polar Alignment and Astrophoto Guiding. The combination of relatively long focal length with a 4-element Plössl design endows this eyepiece with a large eye lens and ample eye relief. The 10mm focal length is well suited for use with off-axis guiders, where light gathering is minimal. Multi-coated lenses also help boost image brightness. Can be used with a barlow to increase magnification. Etched-double crossline reticle adjusts in brightness and is focusable. Runs on two SR-44 batteries (included).
